GlamLush Hair - Salmie

Hey Doves.

I want to share one of my hairspirations. My hair wants to be like hers when it grows up lol. Salmie has thick and healthy long hair, which has made her the envy of many a lady. hehe. Without further ado, here's Salmie and her hair.

 1. Tell us a little about yourself and your hair.

My name is Salmie. I am 21 and am a Namibian (absolutely love my country). I am a student..I'm so passionate about dance and might be slightly obsessed about hair hehe...My hair is in the 4 a-c range, not sure which letter is exactly..it's quite dense and thick. Currently at BSL ( bra strap length). My hair is relaxed ( this includes texlaxed).

2. Do you have a regimen? Please share it.

When in protective styling, which is most of the time. I  wash every two weeks and deep condition. Or I wipe my scalp with apple cider vinegar and seal with either castor or amla oil, or other oils ( but those are usually my main). I alternate between the two, or mix them. I moisturize with a a spritz I created of mostly water, Glyco-Lemon Leave in, and amla oil ( yes it's my favourite oil.)..When my hair is loose , I seal, prepoo, dc and tea rinse weekly.
For pre-shampooing I usually use any natural oil that I have around. I use a sulfate free shampoo. As for dcs I love Tresemme Naturals for moisture and Dark n Lovely Cholesterol  for protein ( with a mix of ORS Replenishing Pak). I tea rinse with green tea, rooibos tea or jasmine and green tea.

3. What got you interested in healthy hair care?

I had lovely hair but it just kept breaking. So when my friend introduced me to the HHJ ( healthy hair journey), I got interested in how long I could grow my hair and how amazing it would look healthy...

4.If you were told you would be taken to to a secret destination and would only know once you got there, what three products would you take with you?

Glyco-Lemon  leave-in, amla oil and ORS  Replenishing Conditioner.

5.What is your favourite thing about your hair?

I love the volume and its  versatility

6.Do you have a motto for your hair?

Go with the flow of your hair

7. What is the  funniest or most memorable moment you've had when someone reacted to your hair?

Mostly people thinking it's a weave. And when I tell them that it's not, them digging into it to see if it is really my hair. Smh lol.

8.Any advice for newbies about healthy hair care?

Get to know your hair and go according to it. Do not compare your hair or HHJ to other people's

Her roller sets are the business. So big and bouncy *drooling*
