Hi Doves!

Happy New Month!
Hello November, you came all too suddenly. Just a while ago it was March, how are we officially in the final quarter of the year?? Soon it will be bye bye 2016. Anyways on to the blessing of a reason I'm writing this post!

We all know that all too familiar nagging  itch when you wear a weave.  I had that itch when I wore this baby that I blogged about here;

For Sensitive Edges: How to Weave and Keep Your Hairline!

Hi Doves!

How is your week going so far?

Mine is ok. Im so excited about this post because I have finally discovered a safe way to weave and keep my edges y'all! In the past I stayed away from weaving or would only do it once a year because of my sensitive  hairline. And it seemed that only braiding and wigging would spare it. But a tight spot  and a creativity spark pushed me to revolutionise the way I weave.

First Look - Caivil Fusion Oil

Hi me lovely doveys

Seeing as I have been rocking a weave for the past few weeks, I decided to look out for an applicator bottle that would help me access my scalp without the oil getting to the weave and weighing it down.

Source : beautysouthafrica.com. Im still having issues uploading my pic so I had to source a picture of the oil.

Enter Caivil Fusion Oil
I spotted this at Clicks Grove Mall (Windhoek) and it retails for N$38.99 (approx 4 USD)
What drew me to the oil was the applicator tip for ease of access to my scalp. However upon closer inspection of the ingredients,  I was blown away. So much so that I'm writing about it before I've even reached halfway through the bottle. Im that pleased y'all.
I don't usually get wowed by products made by caivil as the ingredients tend to leave much to be desired, and Sunday was my lucky day cause I got it for free.99 with my Clicks Card Bonus Points.

The Hair Situ..

Hi doves! How are we today?

This is a hair journey and there are ups and downs.

Well today i'm sharing one of my downs. Some time in march I got some lovely soft dreads/ nubians. I had the hairdresser cornrow my hair, then sew them on. Kind of like crotchet braids. As hair gets longer, the ends need to be protected because they are the oldest and most fragile part of the strand. Usually most people just have the first one to two inches of hair braided then the rest blends in with the synthetic hair when they get soft dreads. It causes a lot of breakage, thats why I have mine done as if im being weaved.

Anyway take down day came along and I asked my sis to help me remove the hair. She used a razor blade to cut the thread and accidentally cut some of my hair *sniff sniff* so now I have a patch of hair that is about 4 to 5 inches short (when stretched) around the front of my hair. I was pretty upset, but ey, these things happen.
