Hi Doves!
Whew that’s a mouthful of a name. I'm reviewing this leave-in and detangler. Remember I mentioned getting it in this post. I must say I loved it from the first day I used it and juuuust could not believe how softening, detangling, amazeballs everything it is! I only skimped out on telling you guys about  it cause I wanted to make sure my hair wasn’t lying to me.

First Look - Caivil Fusion Oil

Hi me lovely doveys

Seeing as I have been rocking a weave for the past few weeks, I decided to look out for an applicator bottle that would help me access my scalp without the oil getting to the weave and weighing it down.

Source : beautysouthafrica.com. Im still having issues uploading my pic so I had to source a picture of the oil.

Enter Caivil Fusion Oil
I spotted this at Clicks Grove Mall (Windhoek) and it retails for N$38.99 (approx 4 USD)
What drew me to the oil was the applicator tip for ease of access to my scalp. However upon closer inspection of the ingredients,  I was blown away. So much so that I'm writing about it before I've even reached halfway through the bottle. Im that pleased y'all.
I don't usually get wowed by products made by caivil as the ingredients tend to leave much to be desired, and Sunday was my lucky day cause I got it for free.99 with my Clicks Card Bonus Points.

Product Review: Glyco-Lemon Leave On Conditioner

Hi Doves

This was the first ever leave-in conditioner I purchased when I started my healthy hair journey. I use this and Dr Miracle's Curl Care Leave In Conditioner in alternation. Im not one to mess with leave-ins because they are the life or death of my hair. I can have a bad wash day  with products that don't agree, but my leave-in will save me. That is why in all my journey, I have only ventured into these two. DC's come and go, but these no *lols* And when I'm low on cash, the glyco-lemon is my go-to. About time I reviewed it!

Purchased at Pick n Pay for N$ 18. Also available at spar, checkers, woerman brock and most supermarkets.

Product Review: Tropical Hair Butter

Hi all!

Today im going to be sharing my thoughts on this Tropical Hair Butter I purchased from Afrorage some time in July.

Afrorage is a small online shop which promotes natural hair care. They also have a blog and facebook page under the same name. I placed my order by sending them an inbox and after a few delays I finally got my butter and a free satin bonnet (it was a promotional special). The butter goes for N$ 120.00 and is only available from them because they manufacture it.

Product Review : African Pride Olive Miracle Anti Breakage Formula Maximum Strengthening Growth Oil

Hello everybody!

I want to share my thoughts on the Olive Miracle Anti Breakage Formula Maximum Strengthening Growth Oil manufactured by African Pride. Please product manufacturers can you PUH-LEASE, please, purizi shorten your product names? Okay thanks. I understand that 1. product names are in short supply because new ones are being made everyday and 2. you want to ensure the product name reflects its properties, but it really is a mouthful. I just call it olive miracle growth oil for short. Ok, on to the review.

I bought this at Pick 'n Pay for N$ 35..it is also available at clicks, dischem (grove mall) and some supermarkets and beauty shops.

Product Review : Sunsilk Co-creations Damage Reconstruction Shampoo

Hi lovely boys and girls..!

I have a product to review today.
As we all know, i'm on the hunt for the perfect clarifying shampoo. What is a clarifying shampoo? It is a shampoo that is meant to strip the hair of all build up and dirt. They are made with sulfates (which are also surfactants) and create that lovely foam and lather we all like. Clarifying shampoos tend to be drying to the hair because they strip the strand and scalp of all the dirt and natural oils. Now because of this, it is advisable to use them just once a month or when you have a lot of dirt and product build up. Some may use them twice a month or more. To counteract the drying effects, it's best to use them diluted with water, water and oil, or oil. If the shampoo contains the ingredients sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate or ammonium laureth sulfate, your shampoo is clarifying.

Product Review : Sta-Sof-fro Braid Spray and African Pride Olive Miracle Braid Spray

Hello everybody!

I'm liking this two by two product review thing. I think it gives a nice side by side comparison of similar types of products. As I am in braids, I think it's only fitting to review braid sprays which i've used to moisturise my hair with. One of my secrets to maintaining my braids is an effective braid spray. Half the battle is won when you are ensured that your hair is nice and moisturised whilst tucked away in a protective style. Lets jump into it.

The ultimate test for a braid spray for me is-if after using it and NOT sealing it with oil, my hair remains moisturised\conditioned. If my hair stays moisturised, I have a winner. This is because I do not seal my hair after using a braid spray and it has worked well keeping it moisturised. Bear in mind that this works well for me.
